About this activity pack
Twelve review game formats that help people recall and use what they learned, with a guide to writing good questions, planning templates, printables and editable slide templates.
Who it is for
Trainers who want end-of-session reviews that do more than repeat the slides
Instructional designers building review activities into courses
Small-business owners and managers who teach their own staff and want a simple way to check what stuck
Shift leads and supervisors reviewing procedures in pre-shift briefings
New facilitators who need clear rules, words to say and ready-made materials
The problem it solves
Most review games test trivia or recognition, and most of the effort goes into the game instead of the questions. This pack gives you twelve formats, from a category points board and a ladder climb to a code breaker, a confidence wager and a scenario showdown, and shows you how to write questions that are about the job: one idea per question, plausible wrong options of similar length, and a reason for every answer. A two-page guide with before-and-after examples shows how to fix weak questions. Every game ends with a short debrief so gaps are fixed before people leave.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need special equipment?
No. Most games need paper, a board or a slide. The review trail needs a die and counters, and the code breaker can use a sealed envelope.
Can I use the same questions in several games?
Yes. One question bank of 20 to 30 questions supports most formats. The guide explains which question types suit which games.
Do the games work online?
Every game has a virtual version using polls, chat, breakout rooms or a shared slide.
