About this course
A short course that teaches anyone who builds slides to show one point per slide, cut the words, use a picture of the idea and make every slide readable, in PowerPoint, Google Slides or Canva.
Who it is for
Business owners and office managers who build slides for staff meetings, pitches and orientations
Shift leads, supervisors and coordinators who present updates and briefings
Sales staff who build pitch decks for clients
Trainers and HR staff who want every presenter in the organization to follow the same slide standard
Anyone with no design experience who wants slides that help the audience instead of competing with the speaker
The problem it solves
Most slides try to do the presenter's job. A slide full of sentences asks people to read and listen at the same time, so they read and miss what the speaker says. This course teaches a simple standard for every slide: one point, a few words, a visual when possible and text large enough to read from anywhere in the room or on a laptop. The detail moves to the speaker notes or a handout. Learners practice by making over real slides from different workplaces.
